Michael B. Mautsauku

Michael has over 30 years of multidisciplinary expertise spanning governance, accounting, banking, and real estate. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held senior leadership roles at ZB Building Society, FBC Building Society, and the Kingdom Financial Holdings Group. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Accounting and Corporate Governance alongside a Bachelor of Commerce Special Honours Degree in Accounting. He holds highly respected professional designations, including Fellow of the Chartered Governance and Accountancy Institute in Zimbabwe (CGAIZ), Chartered Governance Professional (CGP), Registered Public Accountant (RPAcc), Associate of the Institute of Bankers in Zimbabwe (AIOBZ), Chartered Governance Professional Accountant (CGPA), and a qualified Property Negotiator through the Estate Agents Council of Zimbabwe (EAC). Michael serves as a Councillor for the Chartered Governance and Accountancy Institute in Zimbabwe (GAIZ) and is a member of both its Membership & Professional Competence (MPC) and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Committees. Furthermore, he is the Education Committee Chairman on the Council of the Institute of Business and Accounting Studies in Zimbabwe (IBAS) and also serves on the board of the Rockwood Spiritual and Formation Centre.

Mjikeni holds Master of Science (Msc) Degree in Strategic Management from Chinhoyi University of Technology, a Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Business Management from Midlands State University, a diploma in Business Administration, and a certificate in Marketing. Mjikeni has over 27 years’ experience with the fi nancial services sector, having started his career as a clerk and rose through the ranks to become a Back-Offi ce Manager and later promoted to become Manager Unit Trusts. Mjikeni is a board member for Trisel Properties (Pvt) Ltd.
